Our company plans to establish a plant that converts spent coffee grounds into biofuels (Biodiesel, pellets and fire logs). Conventional production of biodiesel involves two main processing steps; extraction of oil and subsequent esterification/transesterification to fatty acid methyl esters (FAME). Our aim is to process spent coffee grounds into biodiesel via the in situ process. We are currently looking for process and mechanical engineers to assist us design a simplified pilot plant to test the feasibility of the in situ process in converting spent coffee grounds into biodisel.
Hello thee; I am a chemical engineer with over 17 experience in process design in a large diversity of processes, please lets discuss the process further
