I am looking for a real good PIC Expert who can write assembler code and has experience with I2C (bitbanging implementation), serial (bitbanging) , as well as RFID 125kHz transponder reading. PIC 16F87x is used in the actual project.
The project is finished (by myself) and working fine - with one exception - that problem has to be found. Also some changes have to be done to the code and i don't have the time.
I need only bids from those who are real experts. I want to see some example code from you (being handled confidential of course) as part of the selection process.
The project budget is for the review of the code and pointing out the reason(s) for the bug. If you don't find any clue where the problem may come from, i won't pay you.
The actual bug to be searched for is not that complicated (but some interrupt routine may actually disturb ...): a function in the project reads out the 24LC256 on the board (via I2C bitbanging) and sends the data as an RS-232 data stream (hex encoded) to a connected PC. sometimes (one in 20k cases), a completely wrong byte is sent - so it seems the address is not set correctly or an interrupt hits in between or ????
So - that is the actual problem. But more must be done to the software, so once you have found the bug (by reviewing the code) i want you then to provide a quote for the other functions (to be revealed once stage 1 - finding the bug - is over). To get an idea how you calculate, please provide me with the hourly rate you base your calculations on.
Serious bids only, please - and explain a bit what you did already on PICs, why you think you are best for the project, and provide sample code. There is some more PIC based work to be assigned once this first project (and the extensions) is done.
