I need help with a medical malpractice case. I'm looking for someone experienced in legal representation. Ideal skills and experience include: tenotomy vs tenodesis - Background in medical malpractice law - Strong negotiation skills - Court representation experience The case involves left shoulder orthoscopy surgery on January 20, 2025. The doctor also did a bicep tenotomy against my wishes. The doctor was told to repair any tears and that I was active and intended to start working out again. He never told me the results of the surgery would be a ruptured biceps and a popeye deformity. I have had nothing but constant pain and loss of strength. The day of the surgery I wrote on the pre-surgery form that I want any tears repaired but he still cut the tendon. The pre-surgery MRI stated the tendon was "grossly intact". When the tendon released in snapped in my arm causing extremem pain and emailed the doctor and was informed he cut the tendon in stead of repairing it. The doctor should have done a tenodesis and I had asked for that in so many words. I explained I have small kids and wanted it repaired to improve my quality of life. Instead he cut it. The after care was poor and he actually stopped emailing me back and treating me. After I confronted him about cutting the bicep tendon they tried saying I wanted pain management and saying they could not get the insurance to do anything even though I spoke to the insurance company and they informed me the oppisite. I eventually had to go to another doctor who got me another MRI showing the severed tendon and addition need for surgery. I was then referred to a specilist in Richmond VA who completed a shoulder clean out and a bicep tenodesis. The doctor also informed me that cutting the biceps was something not done in the United States. Also that the bicep tenodesis will not have as much of success because of how long the bicep was severed in my arm. That if I had immediate care the results would have been better. So the first doctor not only maimed me but the delay in care has ruined the chanced of a successful repair now. The new surgery was completed April3, 2026. Please provide your qualifications and approach.
