I already have two LaunchXL-CC1310 development kits on my bench and a custom PCB built around the CC1310F128RSMR that reads an NST1001 temperature sensor. What I need now is a working, reproducible environment that lets me compile, flash, and validate firmware for both the sensor node and the receiver board. The goal is simple: every five minutes the custom board should wake, sample the NST1001, transmit the reading with basic RF encryption, then drop back into the lowest-possible power state. The second LaunchXL-CC1310 must catch that packet, display or log the value, and be ready for the next frame. I want all of this set up on my own PC with TI Code Composer Studio so I can continue development later without starting from scratch. During the engagement you will: • Install and configure the full TI tool-chain (Code Composer Studio, SimpleLink SDK, SmartRF Studio) on my machine and verify it builds cleanly. • Create well-structured CCS projects for both transmitter and receiver, including low-power routines, basic AES-128 encryption on the payload, and a clear way to adjust the transmit interval. • Prove functionality on my hardware by walking me through flashing, debugging, and range/consumption tests. • Supply a concise Word document that explains the project structure, pin mappings, build steps, and any bootloader or key-management considerations so future iterations are straightforward. Acceptance is reached when the temperature value reliably appears on the receiver board every five minutes, average sleep current meets CC1310 low-power numbers, and all source code plus the .doc guide are in my hands for future expansion. I am fine sticking with basic encryption for now, but please keep the code modular so stronger authentication can be dropped in later if needed.

✨ I can help you set up the full CC1310 firmware and test environment on your PC so you can build, flash, debug, and continue development confidently after handoff. I would configure Code Composer Studio, SimpleLink SDK, and SmartRF Studio, then create clean transmitter and receiver projects for your LaunchXL boards and custom CC1310F128RSMR PCB. The transmitter firmware will wake every five minutes, read the NST1001 temperature sensor, encrypt the payload with basic AES 128, send it over RF, and return to the lowest practical sleep state. The receiver will listen continuously, decrypt the packet, and display or log the temperature value clearly. I can also walk you through flashing, debugging, range checks, and current consumption testing so the setup is reproducible on your own hardware. At the end, I will provide source code plus a concise Word guide covering project structure, pin mappings, build steps, transmit interval changes, and future key management notes. Best regards

Thank you for sharing your project details. It’s clear that you need a reliable firmware and test setup for your CC1310 development kits, particularly focusing on low-power operation and RF encryption for the NST1001 temperature sensor. With over 12 years of experience in embedded systems and firmware development, I can help you establish a robust environment using TI Code Composer Studio, ensuring that both transmitter and receiver configurations meet your requirements. I will set up the complete TI tool-chain, create modular CCS projects that incorporate AES-128 encryption, and demonstrate functionality through thorough testing on your hardware. Additionally, I'll provide clear documentation outlining project structure, pin mappings, and build steps to facilitate future development. Ensuring that the temperature readings are reliably transmitted every five minutes while maintaining low power consumption aligns perfectly with my expertise in optimization techniques. As we move forward, could you please clarify if there are specific debug tools or metrics you'd prefer to use during our testing phase?

Dear Client, Your CC1310 firmware setup is a strong fit for my experience in embedded systems, IoT workflows, RF communication, C/C++ development, and structured technical documentation. I can help create a reproducible TI Code Composer Studio environment for both the custom NST1001 sensor node and the LaunchXL receiver so you can continue development confidently on your own PC. I can configure CCS, SimpleLink SDK, and SmartRF Studio, then build clean transmitter and receiver projects with five-minute wake cycles, NST1001 sampling, AES-128 payload encryption, RF packet transmission, receiver logging, and adjustable timing parameters. I will also focus on low-power routines so the sensor node returns to the lowest practical sleep state between transmissions. The final handover will include tested source code, flashing/debugging guidance, pin mappings, project structure notes, and a concise Word document covering build steps, bootloader considerations, and future key-management expansion. Thank you, Premiya.
