I need a miniature sine-wave transmitter board. I will supply the exact antenna footprint and the precise target frequency (it will be somewhere below 100hz, specified down to the decimal). Your task is to design a PCB smaller than 2 cm × 2 cm that generates a clean, low-distortion sine wave, feeds it to the antenna, and runs for at least one month on a single CR2032 coin cell. It has step sweep formula Long-term frequency stability, minimal harmonic content, and ultra-low power consumption are critical. Feel free to use discrete components, a low-power MCU with DAC, a numerically controlled oscillator, or any other architecture that can hit the spec while staying inside the tight footprint and power envelope. Deliverables • Complete schematic and PCB layout (KiCad, Altium, or Eagle) • Gerbers and pick-and-place files ready for fabrication • BOM with currently available parts • Any firmware or configuration files required, with build instructions • Brief validation (simulation plots or bench data) showing frequency accuracy and projected battery life If you need additional details on the antenna coupling or acceptable duty-cycling, let me know and we’ll finalize the spec together.

I can design a miniature, ultra-low-power sine-wave transmitter board that meets your size, frequency accuracy, and battery-life requirements. I will focus on achieving clean spectral purity, long-term frequency stability, and month-long operation from a CR2032, all within a < 2 cm × 2 cm PCB. Based on your exact target frequency and antenna footprint, I will select the most efficient architecture—such as a low-power MCU with DAC and NCO, or a discrete low-drift oscillator with sine shaping—to minimize harmonic content while keeping current consumption extremely low. Power budgeting, duty-cycling options, and antenna coupling will be carefully optimized from the start. The PCB will be designed with low-noise layout practices, proper grounding, and clean output filtering to ensure a stable, low-distortion sine wave at the antenna interface. Deliverables will include: Complete schematic and PCB layout (Altium / KiCad / Eagle) Gerbers and pick-and-place files ready for fabrication BOM using currently available components Firmware or configuration files with build instructions (if applicable) Validation results (simulation or bench data) showing frequency accuracy, harmonic performance, and projected battery life I’m happy to review antenna coupling details and duty-cycle constraints early to lock the design efficiently and avoid unnecessary iterations.

Hi Miniature Sub-100 Hz Sine Wave Transmitter We have designed ultra-low-power RF and precision oscillator circuits since 2008, including sub-100 Hz transmitters for sensor telemetry and timing applications. For your 20 mm × 20 mm board running 30+ days on a CR2032, we propose a hybrid architecture: STM32L011 (or MSP430FR2000) in deep sleep, waking periodically to generate sine samples via 12-bit DAC Second-order passive LC reconstruction filter to suppress harmonics below -40 dBc Precision voltage reference and temperature compensation for long-term frequency stability (±0.01% drift target) Step sweep implemented in firmware with configurable start/stop/step parameters Average current under 200 µA at 50% duty cycle (projected 45+ days runtime) We will deliver: Complete schematic and PCB layout (KiCad) optimized for minimal EMI and harmonic leakage Gerbers, pick-and-place files, and BOM with all parts available from Digi-Key/Mouser Firmware with step sweep formula, configurable via header defines LTspice simulation showing THD < 2% and projected battery life based on your exact frequency Once you provide the target frequency and antenna footprint, we will finalize coupling topology and power budget. No duty cycling required unless specified. Delivery: 7 business days after receiving frequency and antenna specs. We understand the constraints of ELF operation and coin-cell power budgets. Ready to begin immediately.

Hi, I can design a high-stability, ultra-low power sine-wave transmitter within your 2 cm footprint. To meet the sub-100Hz requirement and the one-month battery life on a CR2032, I will implement a low-power MCU with a precision DAC or a filtered PWM approach to ensure minimal harmonic distortion. I will optimize the architecture for ultra-low current draw while maintaining the decimal-level frequency accuracy and step sweep functionality you require. You will receive the complete schematics, layout, and production files, along with firmware and battery life simulations. My design will focus on long-term frequency stability and clean signal delivery to your specific antenna footprint. I am ready to finalize the architecture once we discuss the antenna coupling details. Best regards

To run a low-distortion sine wave transmitter for over a month on a single CR2032 (approx. 225mAh), you need to keep your average current draw under 300 microamps. Components: Use an ultra-low-power MCU like the TI MSP430. For signal generation, a low-power DDS chip like the AD9833 is standard, but using the MCU’s internal DAC with a lookup table and DMA (Direct Memory Access) will save more energy. Filtering: To keep it "clean" and low-distortion, pass the output through a multi-pole Sallen-Key low-pass filter to strip away digital noise and harmonics. Step Sweep: Program the MCU to update the frequency using the formula: Next Frequency = Start Frequency + (Step Number × Frequency Increment). Power Management: To hit the one-month mark, you must use "sleep" modes between frequency steps. If the signal is constant, you must under-clock the processor and run at the lowest possible voltage (1.8V - 2.2V). Antenna: At this power level and size, a small ferrite rod antenna is your best bet for efficiency without bulk.

I am an embedded hardware and mixed-signal design engineer with experience in ultra-low-power waveform generation and battery-operated RF/antenna-coupled boards. I can take full ownership of this miniature sine-wave transmitter and deliver a production-ready PCB under 2 cm × 2 cm that meets your frequency stability, distortion, and battery-life goals. Based on your exact frequency target and antenna footprint, I will select an architecture optimized for sub-100 Hz precision and long-term stability, such as a low-power MCU with DAC + NCO, or a discrete low-drift oscillator with shaping and filtering, depending on current budget and harmonic requirements. Special attention will be given to low-leakage biasing, sleep strategies, duty-cycling (if allowed), and coin-cell-friendly load profiles to guarantee ≥1-month CR2032 operation. I will deliver clean schematics, compact PCB layout, Gerbers, pick-and-place files, and a BOM using currently available parts. Any required firmware or configuration files will include build instructions. Validation will include frequency-accuracy plots and a battery-life estimate based on measured or simulated current consumption. I’m happy to quickly align on antenna coupling and sweep-formula details before finalizing the design.
