I need a wireless engineer

Job Description:

I have fibre connection upstairs and get speeds upto 700mbps and have connected a wifi extender downstairs so it can reach but can only get speeds of upto 80mbps. I use this for online gaming is there anyway I can upgrade it I’ve run a lan cat6 cable from extender to ps5 and have wired connection but only get 80mbps on that aswell

Hey! Wifi is terrible for online gaming, it's not only the speed but the latency goes down the drain. Taking a cable from the extender to your devices isn't going to help. I can suggest a better device for this purpose Lisää
