Goal is to develop a Battery Management System for a Battery module that contains six Li-Ion cells in series.
Two of these battery modules will be operated in series to have a total of 12 cells in series and several in parallel.
The BMS slave modules (one on each battery module) should report to a master BMS-MCU.
It should have the ability to be chain able and self assign the addresses in order of the electrical connection.
It has to manage the cell voltages and passively balance the cells. Also read two thermal sensors on each battery module.
Using the LTC6802 is my fave, but not we are open to suggestions:)

I have made Battery Management System on TI chipset BQ76930, bq78350. Information about it is in my portfolio. Designed BMS has SMbus. There are two thermal sensors. But I can design BMS on LTC6802.
