Clear your mind Label your mask with your negative thoughts and emotions: every thing and everybody that has ever hurt you or caused you pain in your past. Dig deep, bury the mask, throw it in the pit and don't dig up the pain from your past ever again. Let it go! Why it works. Acting on your negative thoughts and emotions by actually discarding them can sound silly but research found that it really works. The findings suggest that you can treat your thoughts as material, concrete objects. By physically discarding your thoughts, you are less affected by them and they don't translate into a negative outlook. Make happiness a habit!
