Job Description
We’re looking for English native speaker to work as a freelance/contract writer alongside our existing team. The ideal person would be someone who’s commercially-minded with an accurate and flexible writing style, can adapt their tone to suit different audiences and brands, as well as being able to consistently follow a brief.
Our content can range from light-hearted, feel-good blogs to in-depth research pieces that tackle a range of pressing industry issues.
We specialize in the recruitment sector, which means the bulk of our work is written with two core audiences in mind; job applicants and business professionals, and employers.
Typical content that you’ll be working on includes:
• Blogs
• Whitepapers
• Websites
• Press releases
• Brand brochures
• Social media marketing text
• Industry reports
You will be working remotely from anywhere in the world (ideally within Australia,New Zealand or UK), and have full flexibility around hours provided. You can commit a regular amount of time (minimum 5 hours a week is preferred) and reliably meet set deadlines (don’t worry, we try to give our writers plenty of notice!).
As a busy agency, we always have consistent work available, with the potential for future growth opportunities for the right person.
Job Requirements
• A grammar fanatic who’s proud of their research skills
• Have great attention to detail
• Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing practices is highly desirable, as is previous experience writing content for the online space
• Huge bonus points if you’ve previously written reports based on industry surveys (including analysing the data and drawing sound conclusions)
We turn around a high volume of written content, but our focus is always on a quality end-product. The existing team and Directors have a wealth of recruitment knowledge, so this isn’t essential.
We’re open to graduates, people with a little more experience or even someone who has worked in other sectors (maybe even as a recruiter) but fancies themselves as a bit of a writer.
