Drupal has a contributed module "Statistics Filter". The latest release is for Drupal 7. It is a fairly simple module, providing the ability to exclude admin-1 and other user roles from page counts. The task is to port the "Statistics Filter" module to Drupal 8/9. PS: NOT NEEDED and not included is the option to link with "Browscap" module (for excluding search engine hits).

Hello, I can port this module to drupal 8, I have more than 10 years of drupal development experience. In drupal 8 statistics module only store node count and accesslog functionality is removed from d8 core. So we just need port for node count part from drupal7 to drupal 8.
