I can fin and stop the script sending the denial of service, after that you will need to hire someone to do some hardening on your linux box and also an analysis of what they used (exploited) to gain access to your box.

Hi, I'm dealing with these kind of things daily at my work, I think I can spot the the source of DDoS and reduce it to unharmful value.

I've been setting up few web platforms behind TOR where DDOS attacks are pretty often. If attacker is script kiddie there is chance to fix this issue pretty fast. Of course all depends.... However besides server patches some changes on physical switch or DNS might be necessary. I just signed up here and could help you for free as my first task: -)
