The Ankh and Atlantean Ankh in large, 3-4 inch copper pendants, that's the core of this, a real hand-worked piece with that traditional feel. I'd start by sourcing a good gauge of high-quality copper sheet, probably 16 or 18 gauge, then I’d use a combination of hand sawing and filing to get the basic shapes for the Ankh forms, focusing on clean lines that carry that ancient weight, not fussy details. For the traditional aspect, I’d use chasing and repoussé tools to bring out the depth and form, and also a patina treatment to give it that aged copper look that feels right for sacred geometry. I would not use a laser cutter for the initial shapes. That would take away the artisan feel you're after, and also it makes it hard to get that subtle texture from hand filing. My approach to the sacred geometry itself would be to use precise templates derived from traditional proportions, so the Ankh’s proportions are correct, but then let the hammer and hand give it life, so it feels made, not manufactured.
