Small Form-Factor Internal Antenna Design
We have designed a small body-worn wireless microphone. You can see an example picture of what we have done.
The device has a transmitter in UHF frequencies anywhere from 470 MHz to 700 MHz (each device covers 75 to 100 MHz). We currently use an external monopole antenna which has not really been optimized. The device also has a 2.4GHz radio for control and communications. We are looking at developing a new model with a better antenna design. We are interested in exploring internal antennas for both radios, and at least something that uses our form-factor and material better and would improve the user experience. We are looking for someone to design the antenna(s) and help us with antenna prototyping and testing methods. We will carry out the fabrication and physical testing to validate the proposed design(s).
