I need a system that will allow me to manage my busy work schedule. I like the concepts of GTD, specifically the concept of defining a "Next Action". However, I attend 8+ meetings per week. I need to be able to see summeries of all projects and tasks and updates.
I tried using Todoist for this, however it does not really support GTD and does not have the "Next Action" requirement. Also, I could tag other people related to a task, but not projects. Also, i could create views that would show all tasks related to a specific person, but it was difficult to see updates for each task.
1. I need a system that operates like Todoist, or more like FacileThings, NirvanaHQ or MyLifeOrganized. I dont know if next actions would be contained in sub-tasks, but if looking at details from parent tasks or parent projects I should be able to view all notes related to all child items (Todoist does not do this at all).
2. I need to be able to tag projects, tasks and subtasks as well as mention @people and be able to create views to show me all tasks related.
IMPORTANT: when viewing this way I need to be able to see at a minimum the most recent update (this would be useful for meetings). I would also need to be able to easily add a new update (based on current meeting) and define/schedule the "Next Action".
3. The ability to sync or integrate with Outlook would be great (not required). However, ability to external linking (to OneNote or external referral system).
Ideally I would like to set this up using some type of non-programmer platform (ie. Airtable, Notion, etc.)
