WhatsApp Chat Timestamp Editing

I have an exported WhatsApp chat in which I need the visible dates and times adjusted on both the messages I sent and the ones I received. The text itself must stay exactly as it is; only the timestamp information should change. I need every altered message to show both a new date and a new time, and those edits must appear perfectly native inside the chat backup or restored file so that, when I re-import or view it, everything lines up chronologically with the new schedule I provide. You can use whichever method or tool you’re most comfortable with—SQLite, JSON editing, Hex editors, specialised WhatsApp database utilities—so long as the final chat file opens flawlessly in WhatsApp (Android) without triggering corruption warnings. Please let me know: • the format you prefer for receiving the chat (plain .txt export, full [login to view URL], or a decrypted database); • any software requirements on my side for re-importing; and • a realistic turnaround time. I’ll supply the chat file and a simple spreadsheet listing the original row, the new date, and the new time I want for each entry.
