Currently, we are using MS Word documents and Excel tables to produce our company invoices, shippers, quotations, purchase orders and job forms. We are looking for an individual to combine all of these forms into a MS Access or web-based database so we may automate and make this process more efficient.

This is a single form which can be approved via signature and emailed (output as PDF) to vendor or printed and filed. Purchase order information will transfer into the “Job Form” costing analysis for material and outsourcing.
Main form showing all information pertaining to job (see “Job form” excel file). This information includes pictures of the job, reference information, line-ups, job costing, etc. The formulas can be seen and transferred from the Excel file to the database.
This form shows some overall information of all of all our current jobs in progress and is displayed on a monitor on the shop floor. This form is a “snap shot” of job timing and current status.
Are single forms which are printed for the customer / vendor to sign and get sent out with the job. The signed hard copy stays in our records. The information for the shipper is pulled from the job form. They are currently printed on a pre-printed template which will be eliminated for the database.

Scope of the project:
Our current solution is to create these above forms form a template and copy the information from form to form also manually changing dates, and numbers. We have started to create a MS Access Database to incorporate all of these items but the project was left undone. You can use this database to start with or other available templates and combine them.
We will create milestones at the database completion and also another after a few weeks of debugging is completed. Please note that there will be continuous changes based on ease of use and functionality. Your bid must accommodate this challenge. Lastly the database must be completely open and must not have any locks preventing future modifications. I am looking to start this project immediately.
