Data Migration

My client sells videos (VHS) and DVDs.
We are taking two sets of data:
1. Data from the client’s previous ecommerce installation "Actinic"
2. Data from "VideoLog" (VL), an external datafeed. We will be getting updates from this datafeed on a weekly basis, so when an update comes in we need to identify which titles it relates to.
The combined data needs to be structured within a MySQL database so that it will work with Zen Cart.
Two operations need to be done on the data:
* Matching. This involves taking an Actinic title in a specific format (i.e. DVD or VHS), and finding it's Videolog (VL) equivalent. The VL ID will then be noted in the DB.
* Linking. This involves finding the format sibling, e.g. "Disney Christmas on DVD" and "Disney Christmas on VHS". Information will be recorded within the DB to identify the format sibling link. We will use this information to link a title available on both DVD and VHS together.
My client may be required to clarify some of the above operations, to ensure that we make the correct connections.
Some of the Actinic titles will not be mentioned in Videolog.
Some of the Videolog titles will not be mentioned in the Actinic data.
There is information within the Actinic data regarding format siblings. This information would ideally be used as part of this project.
