One sample DATA file in PDF format has be uploaded.
There are many files to be processed, BUT THE INITIAL CONTRACT IS FOR ONLY $30 OF WORK. So bid accordingly. Vanouver contract rates for similiar work cost between $1 to $3 per PDF data file.
Normally $30 would comfortably pay to have 10-30 files processed.
The work primarily consists of
1) transferring and formatting the ASCII data,
2) aligning the data into columns (and rows)
3) adding commas to separate (delimit) values
4) simple error checking
for example: I instead of 1
or 9 misread as 1
or D misread as O ... etc.
5) saving data in ASCII text files
with comma separated values (CSV)
The PDF files have been run through OCR software.
One sample Data file has be uploaded for demonstration purposes.

Plus one illustrated and somewhat more instructional version of this notice has been uploaded. Its filename is "Job PDF to ASCII.pdf"
The data sets are for a large drill holes cut into the ground for mineral exploration.
The bulk of the text can be transferred into a text editor using 'cut and paste'.
Although we use jEdit, an free open source text editor, the choice of software is contractor's choice.
The text data must be saved in .CSV format (comma separated values.)

There are about 120 rows of data to be processed in the sample pdf file.
It would make sense to us if potential contractors would base their bids on an offer to complete at least 10 files.
