CSV will be the main source or Zoho should stay primary when values don’t match? Do your CSV files already contain Zoho Contact ID or we match using email / phone? For duplicates, do you want merge inside Zoho first or after Excel cleanup? I’ve done similar CRM + Excel cleanup work before and I went through your description carefully. Hi, this is Ambar Shome, I work independently but also run Shome & Associates for larger projects. This kind of sync issue usually happens when both CSV and CRM get edited separately. Pls don’t worry, it can be cleaned but needs proper matching rules first. My normal flow is simple. Export Zoho → clean in Excel → update back using Zoho import / bulk update. What I will do while fixing: – Standardize email / phone / date format before compare – Match records using email + phone fallback – Remove duplicates so each customer has one record – Keep purchase history while updating contacts – Use update import instead of overwrite in Zoho – Keep backup before bulk update in case rollback needed After update I export CRM again and compare with CSV to make sure both are same. Should matching be done using Email only, or Email + Phone together?
