Hello I have over 25 years of overall experience with scripting and data processing. Also, I have completed several projects related to processing DWG files, therefore I am sure I am able to handle "locate every tag ID drawn inside a rectangle, and return the raw data and accompanying metadata—plus the exact X,Y coordinates of every tag" I prefer to use Python and standard libraries for this task, although I am able to use Excel Macros/VBA too
