Jay Goldberg Events and Entertainment is an event and entertainment company established in 1971 to promote major live music concerts and to produce and develop festivals and special events. Beginning with the early days of rock n' roll, JGEE has had the pleasure of working with many of the top names in the live music industry.


We're looking for an organized and driven Accounting Assistant to join our growing team at our company. The Accounting Assistant position will work closely with our other accountants and operations personnel and handle day-to-day bookkeeping. The position is responsible for preparing payroll, reports and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. We're an energetic company and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organization and revitalize our record keeping and bring more organization to our day to day financials.


Office Reception

Answer incoming phone calls & deliver messages .

Open & distribute mail.

Take care of walk in customers for JGEE and Vital Security.

Oversee and maintain office including supply ordering, paying monthly bills, handling maintenance needs, oversee cleaning.

Take minutes and coordinate agendas for staff meetings.

Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

Oversee Show Folders and correlating paperwork.

Bookkeeping and data entry via QuickBooks

Assist in administration of payroll

Perform daily, monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.

Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis

Assist in ticket management including outlet distribution, counts and supply ordering.

Apply for necessary permits for events such as Event permits, Tent permits, city & state liquor licenses.
