369141 Social Bookmarking Project

The goal of this project is to use sock puppet accounts to drive traffic to our website from social bookmarking & shopping comparison websites. This project requires continual data input throughout the month from an English speaker who will simulate real users interacting on these websites, bookmarking and sharing favorite products. Here's how the project works: Make 15 sock puppet email accounts. Give each account a real English first and last name. 10 accounts will be women, 5 will be men. Make accounts for each sock puppet on 5 shopping comparison websites from a list we will provide. Make each account sound as realistic as possible: • Complete a profile for each name that simulates our average customer, someone 25 to 35 years old, very hip, modern, and stylish. • Include a photo (take from other social networking or dating sites). • Include basic information such as location, likes, dislikes, etc. • Choose a user name similar to others on the site. You will provide us a spread sheet with sock puppet names, and login username/password for each account. Once the accounts are made, each sock puppet will begin to bookmark, tag, or share our products. In order to not arouse suspicion, each name will stagger their bookmarks. For example, we don't want all 15 sock puppets to bookmark the same products on the same day. Ideally, each sock puppet will bookmark products every other day, so over the course of 30 days, all 15 sock puppets will have bookmarked products. Each sock puppet will bookmark/share 10 products from our website from a list that we will provide. Each bookmark will be tagged with our brand name and relevant keywords from a list that we will provide. 15 sock puppets X 10 bookmarks each X 5 websites = 750 total bookmarks/month Additionally, each sock puppet will make 2 forum posts each month from a list of forums that we will provide. We will provide sample posts; however, it is up to you to ensure that each post is relevant and natural sounding. 15 sock puppets X 2 forum posts = 30 forum posts/month If this project is completed successfully, the winning bidder will be considered for continuation of the project every month.
