Visual basic Visio Macro that reads data form an access database, and places a standard set of icons on a page in Visio - based on the items and quantities in the access database.
The database holds information about what networking equipment belongs to what rooms.
Each different record in the access database (representing rooms) - Needs to be placed on a different tab and add the defaulted background tab as the background layer.
The macro should be run every time Visio is opened and remove/add shapes the no longer exist/were added in the database. The shapes need to include their 'friendy' name that is represented in the database.
//If there is a 'switch' included in the database, then the other networking items in that room should be automatically mapped to the switch ports. Possible?
//Can this be two way. So If I delete a shape, it will remove the record in the database?
//Can re-use code.
