Chennai Safety Survey Enumerators

I’m running a women-safety research project across several neighbourhoods in Chennai and need on-the-ground enumerators who can administer structured surveys face-to-face. Your role is purely data collection; I’ll supply the questionnaire, briefing notes and consent forms, and you’ll head into the field to gather clean, reliable responses. Each completed survey must include these demographic fields: • Age • Income Level • Education Level travel pattern harassment experience bystander intervention You’ll be expected to: • Approach participants respectfully, explain the study, obtain consent and record answers verbatim. • Work exclusively in person—phone or online methods are outside the project scope. • Submit scanned or photographed paper forms (or tablet exports, if you prefer digital) at the end of each day, along with a short status note so I can track field progress and data quality. Familiarity with Chennai’s local languages and neighbourhoods will make the work smoother, and prior experience in field surveys or social research is a plus. The final deliverable is a complete, legible dataset ready for analysis, with all demographic items captured accurately.
