Brazilian E-Commerce User Interviews

interview at least six Brazilian citizens who actively use Shopee or Mercado Livre. Conduct interviews in a conversational and informal format. Ask all of the questions below exactly as written: Usage Comparison “How do you normally use Shopee compared to Mercado Livre? For example, do you use one platform for specific product categories, price ranges, or types of purchases, and the other for different needs?” Spending Evolution “Over the last three years, how have your spending or purchasing frequency changed on Shopee and Mercado Livre? Are you using Shopee more, less, or about the same compared to Mercado Livre?” Alternative Platforms “Besides Mercado Livre and Shopee, do you also use other e-commerce platforms (such as Amazon, AliExpress, or local stores) or prefer offline shopping for certain items? What drives that choice?” Replacement Behavior “Before using Mercado Livre regularly, where did you mostly shop online or offline? What did Mercado Livre replace for you in terms of shopping habits?” Preference Drivers “What do you like most about Shopee compared to Mercado Livre, and vice versa? This could include pricing, delivery, app experience, promotions, or anything else that stands out.” Loyalty and Additional Services “Do you use any additional services from Shopee (such as loyalty points, ShopeePay, games) or Mercado Livre (such as Mercado Pago, shipping subscriptions)? How much do these features influence your decision to continue using one platform over the other?” Deliverables Full screenshots of each conversation with participants (WhatsApp or a similar app preferred). Clear identification of each participant (Participant 1–6). Complete and legible responses. All conversations must be authentic and conducted by the hired person. Requirements Native or fluent Portuguese speaker residing in Brazil. Familiarity with Brazilian e-commerce platforms. Ability to recruit real participants quickly. Access to WhatsApp or similar messaging applications. Important Notes Conversations should feel natural and informal, not like a rigid questionnaire. Participants must be real users; fabricated responses will not be accepted. Payment may be structured as a fixed price upon full delivery of the materials.
