I have excel with data, it has 6 sheets . Need to in analytics tool (e.g. power BI):
1. Minimal normalization / cleansing
2. Upload data to analytics tool (e.g. power BI, google studio or alike) and create reports/dashboards.
Please note the following:
1. Each sheet in excel has primary key to join data. However 2-3 sheets primary key column data need to be matched and normalized (e.g. the unique joined key name may be mispelled , case sensitive or other). The normalization should be using RegExp or similar I can easily adapt
2. The data sometimes appear as Text type in excel while its actually number, need to handle data type changes
3. As I want the reports /dashboard to updated daily, every time I conduct new Excel reports should refresh. Need a a script or way to take the excel automatically from shared folder or similar.
4. List of reports I have and you can ask. I presume around 15-20 variations depend how report is built with which filters.
5. The tool/reports can be easily changed / configured by me in future by the analytics tool. Help choosing the analytics tool e.g. power bi or other
6. I want the excel to only hold raw data not to do the normalization , calculated fields and cleansing(e.g. today it has VBA and other formulas)
7. consult what tool best to use - free for personal use, easy to configure drag and drop, can be whitelable etc
