We need a secure section of our site which we can log onto using a username and password. We would also need a forgot password feature which emails us our password when we type in our email address.
The section would be to hold customer details in a database so we can look at these details. We would need a page in this section where we can enter the new cusomter details or edit existing customer details.
The details the database would need to hold are:
Primary Contact Name
Contact Name 2
Contact Name 3
Contact Name 4
Address (several lines including the city, county, postcode and country)
Number of ships
Ship name and type
Once these details are on the database we would need a way of searching for them by Company name or contact name.
We would also need to be able to bring up a list of companies by searching for them by:
Country, ship type or number of ship or maybe even two or three of these criteria.
We would then need to be able to download an excell spreadsheet of this list with the address, company name and primary contact.
We would need to be able to print off the details of any company. This would include everything on the database about them.
This section of our site needs to be split into several sections. The first page would just be to log in and have link to the forget password feature.
The second page, which would only be displayed once you are logged in would have all the search facilities on it mentioned in the original brief. All pages after the first one should only be able to be accessed if you have logged in and shoudl link the user to the login page if they have not logged in.
Also you will need to set it up on the server for us so it is fully working.
