2. The inputs for encryption are 8-bit plaintext and 10-bit key both in binary form.
The output is 8-bit ciphertext.
3. The inputs for decryption are 8-bit ciphertext and 10-bit key both in binary form.
The output is 8-bit plaintext.

As a part of my diploma program i was taught encryption/decryption using C++ 11. The project goal is rather different than what i learned but i can assure i'll get the work done in time.
Day 1 - Understand the requirements properly from the employer. Developing the solution. Day 2 - Unit testing it properly and alignment with the employer and submitting the same.
