IDS camera driver

Job Description:
I have a camera from IDS ([login to view URL]) which I cannot figure out how to program correctly.
There is a manual which I find very confusing, but IDS is a big company so in theory it should be okay.
Requirements, written in C++,
From the program the Camera should be set up to send 10bit images of an acceptable quality.
If you know C++ well and know how to understand manuals this is a very simple task
