An online start-up in Canada is looking for a long-term relationship with a technical writer who is capable of producing quality help documents in HTML describing software behavior/usage, with minimal guidance from us. Our site is in the online data security/privacy space.
This initial project requires a 1000-word description of one feature of our site (with screenshots), and if we like the result, we will send more work in your direction.
The immediate follow-up project will be a set of help files (pages) totaling 3000-5000 words with due date in a week from its start, with more projects happening as we add features to our web site (every 2-3 months).
If our relationship is successful, we will be willing to provide an official reference (after the first follow-up project).
* excellent technical writing skills (style, grammar);
* experience writing software help documents;
* basic understanding of online data security/privacy issues;
* SEO skills would be nice to have, but not required;
* experience with related press releases (new software features) would be a plus.
Only bids with relevant writing samples will be considered.
Please bid for the initial project (1000 words), at the rate you are willing to accept for follow-on work (prorated for word count).
