We’re looking for a self-sufficient and motivated content editor that has experience writing and editing for the web to join our team!
Preference will be given to applicants with two-plus years’ experience, an online portfolio of work, and is comfortable working with WordPress, Google Analytics, and Google Docs/Sheets.
Proofread, re-structure, and edit various articles and blog posts from conceptualization to publication
Update and apply regulatory and compliance knowledge across the insurance categories
Craft monthly newsletters
Ensure all content maintains a consistently high-quality standard
Keep up to date with current content marketing trends
We’re looking for someone to bring our editorial voice to life — engaging readers to take action.
Degree in communications, journalism, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in proofreading, editing, and online content production
Exceptional writing and editorial skills
Excellent research skills to investigate, produce and guide writers on unfamiliar topics
Understand the special considerations required when writing for the web, including SEO, keyword research and scan-ability
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Understanding of content strategies and trends
