We have a website which has undergone successful trialling, from a user perspective, for quite some months now and we feel the time is right to promote it and attract signups. We are looking for a professional person/organisation to write some compelling press releases and news articles which will drive people to our site with the intention of attracting signups. The website offers extremely affordable advertising for any advertiser, whether they be personal users or a small to large business owner. It has a classifieds section and offers a lot more than just advertising. members can also learn the fundamentals of programming in VB.NET and learn intermediate to advanced skills in Excel 2007. In addition, there is a also a maths section for kids. In addition there is a virtual city/mall all set up waiting for advertisers to take advantage of the low rates. It is a great website but we need to get it noticed and attract members. Our membership fees are as low as $20 per year and for this a member gets 100 pre-paid classified advertising slots. Each slot is available for 12 months and can be re-used several times over in that 12 month period, example, if they listed a car and that sells, then all they do is edit the entire contents of the ad and re-use the advertising space. Members do not pay for any additional features for listing or any success fees. Many other sites say they are free to list and that is true for a plain text-based run-on advertisement without pictures or featues such as bold-facing. If an item sells, then the advertiser has to pay significant success fees. Our objective is to level the playing field and make online advertising affordable for anyone so we do have casual rates of $1 per ad which has a listing period of 3 months. ALL free members get 1 free ad which is available for a period of 1 month. We are looking for a professional to write a compelling press statement which will get noticed and picked up by major newspapers particularly in NZ and Australia however we are not adverse to world-wide publicity. We are going to embark on a small television campaign in NZ so if we can be noticed in NZ, then that will be a great primer for a television campaign as that will get us a free news story.
