Tutorial for Software Estimation [SPR Guideline]


Please revert to this project posting only if you have experience in Software Estimation [Time & Cost] on SPR guidelines.

I need a 100 page [approx] tutorial that will explain the Software Estimation process with examples. Further to it, I need atleast 50 Good Quality questions based on this tutorial by which user can test their Software Estimation Skills.

Following is not an ellaborated list, but I expect the following in the tutorial:

1. What is Software Estimation.

2. Why do we need Software Estimation Process.

3. Different Methods for Software Estimation [COCOMO, IFPUG, SPR, etc...]

4. Starters:

4.1. What is Complexity Multiplier [Explained throughly]

4.2. What is Function Point Weightage [Explained throughly]

4.3. What is Productivity Index [Explained throughly]

4.4. Defining LCL and UCL

4.5. Drawbacks of Project if LCL is breached.

4.6. Drawbacks of Project if UCL is breached.

5. What are EI, EQ, EO, EIF and ILF

6. How to divide a Form/Task into EI, EQ, EO, EIF and ILF

7. Applying Product and Data Complexity.

8. Add/Subtract unaccounted efforts.

9. Check final estimated function points with LCL and UCL

10. Describe Final Result

11. Store final result for future references.

12. Any case Studies if possible.

Please note that the language, diagrams and values of the formulas should be developed by the freelancer [unique in nature].

Any valuable addition to the above mentioned content will be a plus.
