Hello Talented Romance Writers, We are looking for creative writers to write standalone romance stories with a min of 10,000-words each. The themes of the romance stories that we want you to write include contemporary, highlander, historical, historical western, or cowboy,. You will come up with the characters, details, plot, context, etc. The majority of the readers will be women, so the story should captivate and engage female readers. Details: - This job includes a romance story with a minimum of 10,000 words of content and a 150 word book description that entices readers to buy the book. - This is a non-erotic, non-explicit romance, so it must not contain any explicit content, but it can be slightly steamy and it must have a “happily ever after” ending. - The story needs to be creative, with compelling problems that keep readers engaged in every chapter or, at least, reading to the end of the book. - The story needs to be 100% original. We will run a plagiarism check and will reject, without pay, any document containing any plagiarism. - Expected time for the story is within 10-15 days per 10,000 word story. - We will accept all writers (even non-native) but story must be in good English with no extreme editing required. Our editing department will check for spelling, grammar and punctuation but, please run Spell Check before submission! Our proposed budget is $250USD per 10,000 (including Freelancer fee and 150 word summary). Please reply with some samples of your work so that we can see your style and creativity. You will be required to submit the first chapter as soon as it is finished as well as the short 150 word description of the story within 3 days and, at that time, you will be paid $20USD as a Milestone payment. If the story is acceptable, the entire balance of $230USD will be paid once the entire document is complete. If we require changes or suggest a different conflict or characters, we will provide that information with the $20USD payment. If the first chapter is not acceptable, we will discontinue this agreement immediately, so you do not write unnecessarily, and no further payment will be made, but, we have not as yet had to discontinue any such agreements. By accepting this assignment, you agree that you will own no rights to the work or parts of the work and you understand/agree your name will not appear anywhere on the work. We would retain all copyrights to any stories. We are seriously interested in creating a relationship with the right bidders. Please include the word “Unicorn” in your proposal with a brief outline of your story idea so that we know you have read this post completely.
