In my past work with kids, I found that interactive elements and clear progress notes keep both students and parents motivated. The Swahili tutor role for your group of 8- to 12-year-olds caught my attention, and I believe I am an excellent fit because I am a native Swahili speaker with experience teaching English to children online and making grammar fun and accessible for beginners. I understand the importance of patience, friendly energy, and engaging materials when working with young learners. My approach would be to create a simple week-by-week outline covering the alphabet, basic sentence structure, common nouns and verbs, and everyday conversational patterns. I would design or source printable worksheets that feel like games rather than tests, and curate or record short 2- to 4-minute videos to reinforce each topic visually and aurally. I am comfortable hosting live 30- to 45-minute classes twice a week on Zoom or Google Meet, working through the worksheets, pausing for videos, and leaving room for Q&A.
