Adaptable voice is the real requirement here, and it is worth being honest about what makes it work: a voice that adapts is not a writer with no voice, it is a writer who reads your brand well enough to disappear into it. So the first thing I would want is not a brief - it is two or three things you have already published that you think sound right, and one that sounds wrong. That contrast tells me more than any brand guideline document. On the work itself: headlines, taglines and short-form are where writing is hardest, because there is nowhere to hide. A weak paragraph has three sentences to recover; a weak headline is just weak. The way I work short copy is to write more options than you need and cut, rather than polishing one line into the ground - the fourth or fifth attempt is usually where the real one is. One thing I will not do, since ghostwriting is in the tags: invent claims, testimonials or results to make copy convert. Persuasive is a matter of clarity and specificity, not of saying things that are not true, and made-up proof is the fastest way to sink a brand rather than grow it. Writing is delivered in-house by my team, everything reviewed by me before it reaches you, so an ongoing stream stays in one consistent voice rather than drifting per assignment.
