a code in R language that do comparison between floyd warshall, johnson and brandes algorithms for betweenness centrality of twitter users .
To conduct the code use R language, with A very large data set from Twitter. The data set should be equivalent to 30,000 tweets per day for the duration of 3 months , a specific popular topic with large time line and long existing time will be chosen to collect as much tweets and relationships from these tweets as possible. After collecting the data set you will apply to it three different available algorithms to measure centrality which are: Floyd–Warshall algorithm, Johnson algorithm, Brandes algorithm.
Floyd–Warshall algorithm and Johnson algorithm are going to be implemented by including RBGL package which implement the following functions: floyd.warshall.all.pairs.sp and johnson.all.pairs.sp . In addition, Brandes algorithm is going to be implemented by including SNA package which implement the function betweenness that compute the betweenness centrality scores of network positions.
After applying these algorithms the results which are expected to be plots and list of ranks will be analyzed according to the suitability to twitter data and the amount of generated insights so these results should be in a comparable format. Finally, a validation process will be implemented to guarantee the correctness and integrity of the results. the code should be clear will formed and each step is fully explained in a comment.And the used data set should be provided with the code.
