The City’s response is clear: before they will issue the permit they want stamped stormwater management calculations and a licensed Washington civil engineer’s formal review of my plans. Scope of work • Produce stormwater management calculations—runoff volume and infiltration rate are the two metrics the City singled out. • Review the entire site-development drawing package, focusing on drainage systems, erosion control, site grading, and the way impervious-surface runoff is handled. • Provide any minor drawing mark-ups necessary to bring the set into compliance. • Prepare and apply your professional engineer’s stamp along with a brief letter or form required by the City confirming that the submittal meets Washington standards and Maple Valley code. Important context – Professional topographical and site survey is complete. – I’m a GC and mechanical engineer with four decades of field experience, so coordination will be straightforward. – All native files (AutoCAD Civil 3D, PDFs) are ready for immediate hand-off, and I can supply the City’s redlined comment sheet on request.
