Antique Fantasy World Map

I’m writing a fantasy novel and want readers to open the book and immediately feel transported, so I need an illustrated world map in a rich, antique style—think weathered parchment, decorative compass roses, and elegant calligraphy. The map’s primary role is to ground the story; therefore, it must showcase the key cities and memorable landmarks that drive the plot. I’ll provide a rough sketch and a short lore sheet that lists every location’s name, emblem, and any lore notes you should weave into the artwork. Final artwork should be delivered print-ready at 300 dpi (approx. A4 or US-letter size) plus a layered PSD or TIFF so our book designer can make small text tweaks if necessary. A clean PNG for web teasers would be appreciated, too. Style notes • Authentic antique look—faded tones, inked coastlines, subtle coffee-stain patina. • Decorative embellishments are welcome, so long as they don’t crowd the cities and landmarks. Acceptance check The project is complete when the map: • Clearly labels every provided city or landmark. • Maintains legibility at both print and e-reader resolutions. • Carries a cohesive antique aesthetic across the entire canvas.
