@rajat07me

Your Canva school news template likely already has the core structure in place—the real difference now is making it feel polished, smooth, and visually consistent instead of looking like a rough first draft. The main issues in projects like this are usually timing, layer stacking, and transitions that distract rather than support the content, so I’d focus first on cleaning the visual flow and tightening the animation behavior. I’ve worked on Canva-based edits for branded social videos, presentation-style clips, and school/business announcement formats where the job was less about rebuilding and more about making the existing template look professional and easier to reuse. That kind of detail work matters a lot with Canva because small alignment and layering problems can make the whole piece feel off. If you want, I can also make sure the final template stays easy for your team to update later. - Is the current template meant for landscape, portrait, or both? - Roughly how long is the video and how many scenes/slides need refinement? - Do you want the animations kept subtle and clean, or more energetic/news-style?

A school news template has to feel polished and easy to follow, or the whole piece looks rushed and distracting. I’ll clean up the layout, tighten the layer structure, and shape the motion so the transitions feel smooth instead of added on. I’ll refine the Canva template with stronger visual balance, cleaner spacing, and more purposeful animation timing. For a school news format, that means keeping the on-screen text readable while making the motion feel lively enough for announcements, headlines, and segment changes. I’ll also correct the layers so elements sit where they should and nothing clashes or overlaps awkwardly. You can review my previous work here: https://www.freelancer.com/u/mqazi1000 Could you share the current Canva file so I can see how the template is built?

@ranjika08

The biggest challenge with Canva video templates is usually not creating elements—it’s making everything move and sit together in a way that feels intentional. For a school news piece, I’d refine the design balance, fix any messy layer structure, and adjust transitions so the video feels smooth and professional while still staying easy to edit later. I’ve done similar cleanup work on editable Canva assets where clients needed a better final presentation without losing the convenience of the template. That includes correcting overlapping elements, tightening spacing, improving title/subtitle hierarchy, and making motion feel more natural instead of random. If helpful, I can also suggest a few small visual upgrades that keep the template more broadcast-style. - Approximately how many text/image layers are causing trouble right now? - Do you have an example of the look or energy level you want this template to match?

@NorwaneDigital

A polished Canva school news video template with sleek design, smooth transitions, and perfectly managed layers. I have refined dozens of Canva video projects for educational clients, delivering crisp animations and clean layer structures. Many editors overlook subtle timing of layer visibility, which can make the final video feel disjointed. I pay close attention to each animation curve and layer order, ensuring the final edit aligns with your school’s branding and messaging. I’ll keep tweaking until the template feels exactly right, and I’m easy to coordinate with throughout. @Joya1996

A school news template needs to feel clean, clear, and upbeat without becoming visually busy, and that’s usually where Canva video edits need the most refinement. If the layers, motion, and scene transitions are not fully aligned, even good content can feel amateur, so I’d approach this by improving consistency first and then refining the motion and overall look. I regularly handle template cleanup and visual enhancement work where the structure already exists but needs a stronger designer’s eye to make it presentable and reusable. Canva is great for this when the editing is done carefully, especially for announcement-style and educational content where readability and pacing matter. I can also keep the template organized so future edits are easier on your side. - How many pages/scenes are inside the current Canva video? - Do you already have a school brand color/font guide that should be followed? - Would you like me to work only inside the existing design, or can I refresh some visual elements too?
