The door has no hardware cut-outs yet, so I need you to accurately bore and chisel the opening for a standard privacy knob and recess the hinge pockets, supply and fit the hinges, then hang and align the door so it closes cleanly without rubbing. What I’ll hand over: • The untreated solid timber door • A privacy knob set, still boxed What I need back: • Precise knob hole and latch cut-out, clean edges with no tear-out • Recessed hinge seats matched to existing jamb locations, hinges installed square • Door hung, aligned, and tested for smooth latch action and even reveals • Work area left tidy You’ll bring your own joinery tools—hole saw, chisels, router, planes, levels—and the know-how to get a perfect fit on the first try. If you spot minor frame issues while you’re here, let me know; I’m happy to approve quick fixes on the spot. Job is on site, ground-floor entry, good access and parking.
