We have a Unity3D VR app that imports prefabs via the assetbundle system at runtime. The prefabs are created in a separate project, saved as asset bundles and are uploaded to AWS S3, then downloaded and imported by the VR app.
The assetbundles are generally the entire environment, but it is important to note it is just a prefab we are importing, not an entire scene. This all works fine but we also need to also export the built lighting and import that into the VR app along with the prefab and have it applied in that scene, this is what we have not been able to figure out how to do.
So for this project what we require is you to develop a system or workflow that allows a prefab + lightmap to be saved as an assetbundle in a Unity3d project and then imported into another at runtime, with the result that both look absolutely identical.
