I need a small program for a windows platform (XP, Windows 7, 8) that can load a file on computer A, then have the program paste the file in a folder (which loaded on computer A) on computer B.
SOURCE: choose a file (the program will copy the file and attach it for later use)
TARGET: add a target file name (this is where the program is going to paste the file to)
INSTALL: The program will paste the file to the required folder
NOTE: SOURCE and TARGET are done on computer A and INSTALL on computer A or B
Example: take a file called [url removed, login to view] from folder “Samples” on computer A and transfer it to a folder called “Tests” on any computer this program is going to be installed on (either computer A or computer B)
Needs to be a very simple self contained program. If we call this program “Installaiton Program”, once clicked it will ask:
SOURCE file – and allow the user to choose any source file on the computer, then attach this file to the program.
Next Message: SOURCE – allow the use to enter a folder destination name for instance: C: Tests
The program will then indicate the INSTALL option remaining and when clicked it will do the transfer.
If a file by this name exists, replace existing file.
Complete the process with a message: “Installation completed successfully”. Or if folder not found: "couldn’t find destination folder"
That’s it. If you know basic programming this should be very simple to create.
