I would like to get my Emotiv Epoc+ (consumer) device to communicate with the OpenVIBE software. Emotiv Epoc+ is, therefore, an EEG headset. I don’t have experience in C++ programming. So I couldn't get software working properly.
In order to get connect between Epoc and OpenVIBE there must be for example Emokit driver. Your task is to get OpenVIBE build and get Emojis driver to work properly with OpenVIBE. Operating System which OpenVIBE should install will be either Ubuntu or Windows 7.
I think that this project is quite easy for someone who is familiar with the C ++ programming. This task would be made via the remote desktop software. Is there anyone who would be interested and would be able to handle the task? What would be your salary expectations?

Hello,
I got an email saying that you are inviting me to bid on this project. I am a senior embedded developer with over 5 years of experience in embedded systems(C/C++). If you are interested in hiring me, please contact me and after that I can make a detail analysis of your project and if I project is simpler than I think it is I will reduce my bid. Also duration of the project will change if project is simpler.
Best regards,
ZMI
Hi
I have extensive experience in C++, Linux USB device driver (I have written usb html , usb gadget drivers and modified many).
As I understand here you need to compile openvibe for Ubuntu and USB device driver for Ubuntu.
Then try open vibe software by connecting eeg device.
Hello
I worked in NeuroScience for many years, studying EEG of epilepsy - so this looks interesting.
You may have to install secure shell or telnet so that I can log onto your machine and perhaps FTPD so that I can upload files (but I can do that onces I've logged on). I'll keep notes of all the steps and write up a summary (step by step). I work in Linux/UNIX - so it would have to be Ubuntu.
If there are issues, (building locally) we may have to get another OpenVIBE for me (I can put my 'prepaid' towards that. I think this would be very interesting - its amazing you can get 'home EEG' now! .
Cheers
Thaddeus
