Longlight Firmware

Hardware description

Light source: 1 or 2 ledstrip SK6812 (similar WS2812) with individually adressable leds.

Ledstrip can be RGB, RGBW or WWA (wharm white and amber)

Length 1 m (144 leds) or custom specified

Microprocessor control board: Teensy LC or alternative

Resistive touch strip with two channels, connected to analog inputs of Teensy.

Touch strip has same length as ledstrip.

At each end of the touch-strip is a separate switch (zone of 20mm) with separate voltage output. Pressing it sends >2v signal to Teensy.

Power supply 5 volt 20A

Mechanical: Lens and led protection, profile, strip and support

Firmware description

The Teensy LC can be programmed as an Arduino compatible board, using Teensyduino installer. [login to view URL]

Libraries for driving LEDs use FastLed and FastLed RGBW

The code can be tested during Skype and Teamviewer sessions, step by step development of code is suggested. It is not necessary to build hardware.
