Need application that can detect when the monitor (LCD display) is brought up from "Turned off" to "Turned on".
We got a bug in the Intel drivers that make the display corrupt when brought back from turned off to turned on.
The display will show some shadow/ghost info. We use our display in a 180 degree rotation. Somehow the driver have problems with this when bringing the display back from turned off.
If we start the screen saver (blank screen) and then turn off quickly this bogus info will disappear. So a redraw/repaint on the display would solve this issue.
Software needs to run in background and listen for event when screen is turned on and the execute a redraw. Should be possible with Windows API?
Should be simple for someone who know what he/she is doing.
We run Windows 7 Pro. Attached is a screen shot of the problem.
