I'm basically looking for a functional AI for Open Holdem. I can produce my own table maps, but I need an AI for the brain. I'm hoping that it will be possible to setup OHE so that I can adjust the base calculations the AI makes without needing to change any of the code in order to have the bot play more agressively the higher it's chance to win, and more passively with the lower chances. I have already figured out the hand lists, but I really need the bot to calculate the pot odds, and then make a decision based on the result, and factoring my preferred level of aggression or passivity for each board situation. Hopefully this will be in the form of a check box, for each hand type.
I will almost certainly have a few more requirements, but effectively I am looking for an interface whereby I can select the cards I want to play from the start, and then simply fold, call or raise based on pot odds, and the hand it currently has. I prefer not to bluff, but I will risk a semi bluff fairly regularly, so being able to add a variable to allow the bot some freedom to try would be good.
I have heard a bit about genetic algorithms as far as OHE is concerned, but I'm not sure what that equates to as functionality of the bot, or the benefits it would provide. if someone can shed some light onto the matter then it may guide me a little closer to my needs.
Of course, the holy grail would be a learning AI, that I can let loose on low level games in the knowledge it would learn from it's mistakes and improve itself. Again I'm not sure how viable that would be.
Timescale is not too much of an issue for me for the right quote for the right AI.
That's about it, thanks and I look forward to your offers.
