Current freely downloadable software contains algorithms for effectively playing high-quality poker matches. These algorithms are to be extracted and manipulated into an advisory program. The program will use OCR (or other means) to interrogate the poker table, and this information will be fed to a processing program. The algorithms then process this and display the suggested response to the user.
The software does not need to be pretty, it just needs to work. It assumes that the table is always at the same xy coordinate on the screen, supports only one online poker room, and that hand history is always placed at the same location,and in the same format. Current programs could be analyzed to show how best to perform each of these tasks, lists available on request.
This is a prototype possibly for further development and retail to the wider market. The coder who completes this work will be given first preference on continuing any further work to be done, assuming this is done to a reasonable standard and at a reasonable price.
The program would ideally be created for mac OSX, but a windows equivalent might be acceptable if the MAC system is too expensive/problematic.
The software containing the algorithms will need to be reverse-engineered to extract the useful parts - but this shouldn't be too hard.
