We're looking for a programmer or small group of programmers to aid us in the port of a 2D game.
We have a ready 2D game written in C++ that uses a particular SDK for all drawing issues and user input.
we need to abbandon that SDK and change all drawing to be done by DirectX.
Using a free 2D Engine would be an option.
All classes and structures running the gameplay are to remain untouched, we do not want to rewrite the project from scratch - just change all draw and input methods.
Source code is well structured and commented and you would have contact to our team of programmers.
We expect that the task should not take more than 3-5 weeks, after that we will negotiate further tasks that could come up at that point. The person assigned for this job will have to provide regular reports and source code updates to our SVN/VCS. First payment can be administered upon a first stable framework (~25% of work done), no advance payment prior to that. You will have to sign a NDA prior to receiving source codes and documentation.
Very well English OR German for communication is a must.
