*** Must be completed tonight ****
I had a guy try and update a site for us.
The adress is [url removed, login to view]
For some reason the when the site is viewed on a Windows OS the site looks well organised. However when the site is viewed on a MAC the banner looks untidy and doesn't fit.
Also there is a CMS panel on the backend to control all the text which is at [url removed, login to view]
I will need to get the winning bidder the password/login for this area. It seems as if the site was built in 2 seperate frames, one for the banner and one for all the text. When the text is updated in the CMS the updates don't seem to work properly. They seem to update on the Windows platform but they frames dont seem to update on the MAC.
I will pass on all the login details for both the server and for the CMS panel on this site. Basically this was meant to be a quick update for a site that has been worked on by 2 different programming teams and hasnt be completely correctly.
When viewed on a PC it looks fine, apart from areas with test data on it... on a MAC it looks messy. As the developer made this site live before it was finished it being a real hassle.
This really needs to be finalised as sooon as [url removed, login to view] the text and font needs to be the same, and any test text should be removed.
Also there is a page where a calender needs to be created as well as well as the banner looking the across both MAC and PC.
As I said this is an urgent fix that needs to be corrected as soon as possible.
Hopefully you understand what is required. If you could give me a rough cost and time of how long it will take to be corrected. I will send through the appropriate logins/passwords later today.
